Filed under random cool stuff. The transit of Venus is taking place. Sunlight filtered through a tree, then came through our bedroom window and onto a wall, casting multiple scintillating images of the sun. It turns out to be a simple way to photograph the black dot of Venus eclipsing the sun, although I did have to shoot several frames to get this one.
