The snow is almost gone. Arriving home and walking through the backyard, I noticed the first real sign of spring poking up through last fall’s leaves. Either that or there was a big green monster clawing its way out of the ground. So I went inside, grabbed the 70D and 100mm macro lens and took some shots. Luckily, not a monster. When I reviewed the images on the computer, I found this one featuring someone else who thinks it’s spring. I hadn’t seen her when I tripped the shutter. Regrettably, the long-term forecast isn’t as optimistic. But, the daffodils will survive and the ant and her sisters will head back deep underground until spring really arrives.
