Limited time program: $10,000 pr $12.500 for qualified buyers.

Marquette Bank has it’s own foundation that provides grants to first-time home buyers. The foundation is named Marquette Bank Affordable Housing Foundation and provides the grants for people getting their loans through Marquette Bank.
The grant has these eligibility requirements:

Income requirement: Your total household income is less than $58,800.
Geographic requirement: You are purchasing a property within one of the 600+ low or moderate income census tracts within Marquette Bank’s assessment area (City of Chicago, Will Dupage, Kendall, southern portion of Cook and southeast portion of Kane).
This grant must be used toward the purchase of your primary residence (single family home, condo or townhouse).
You must be a first-time home buyer.
Must apply for financing by December 31, 2013.

This sounds like a great opportunity for free money for first-time buyers.
